If You Attend a Liberal Church

If you continue to attend such a church, after knowing that it is a liberal Christian church, you are part of the problem, not the solution:  you are supporting such a church with your worship, prayers, tithing, etc.

Finding a new church may require some sacrifice, such as taking the time to find a better church, driving farther to attend a better church, etc.  But Christianity is about sacrifices, not the path of least resistance. Think of the sacrifice that Jesus made:

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:5-8)

Jesus went all the way from heaven to Earth to die for our sins; can you not drive a few extra minutes to attend a church that glorifies God?

If You Are a Liberal Christian

If you meet any of the characteristics of liberal Christianity, you need to take action to improve in those areas.  This does not include the category of Salvation is Not Based on Works; I included that category since liberal Christians may claim that this website teaches a works based salvation.

The first possibility is that you might not be a Christian at all.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5)

See my page on How to Go to Heaven. While it may seem a bit embarrassing to verify this, it sure beats spending eternity in hell!

If you are indeed a Christian, the following are some recommended actions:

  • Start with the various Scripture passages listed for the particular category.
  • Check out any web pages that are referenced in that category.
  • You can also read all the pages listed on the Bible Living dropdown on the navigation bar.

Afterwards, you need to resolve to grow in the categories that you fall into and become more of a Biblical Christian.
