Many of us have a poor prayer life. In many cases, this is because people simply are not sure how to pray. However, according to Scripture, nobody does:
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:26-27)
The purpose of the web page is not to have you repeat these prayers verbatim. The purpose is more to show how people have prayed so that you may have something to model your own prayers after. Each of us is unique.
Nobody will pray perfectly. You may use parts of each of these prayers or some of these prayers for your own prayer life.
